AnaSem has successfully developed an integrated Monolithic Sensor IC in which CMOS IC and MR (Magneto Resistive) Element Plate are combined.
By combining the Control Circuit and such Sensor Element into a monolithic IC, it gives the merits of smaller size, higher reliability, minimized variation on performance…etc., enabling us to supply an ideal sensor solution. This “One-Chip” combination is only one of AnaSem’s MR Sensor solution’s advantages; the sensor solution can also maximize its sensitive of the N/S polarities, respectively.
Comparing with Hall element plate, the MR element plate takes up less space dimension, hence making the possibility of having the IC size being smaller.
AnaSem’s MR Sensor can be offered in a 2.0 x 2.1 x 0.6mm package (SON-4 package), which is currently the smallest sized MR Sensor switch could be found in the world, which especially is used by mobile phone application where PCB space and height are tightly restrained.
For mobile phones with sliding or flipping cover movements that need to trigger the power supply to be turned either ON or OFF (i.e. power supply to LCD screen), our MR Sensor solution can be well suited for the requirements of High Performance, Minimized IC Size and Low Cost.
